AVE - Adaptation, Vulnerability and Ecosystems
The AVE project’s main objective is to collect, synthesize, and use existing evidence on the benefits derived from ecosystem-based adaptation. Different actors at multiple levels are involved in developing knowledge and supporting different results, which will allow adopting an effective approach to EbA (Eco-systems based adaption) in the design of policies, governance structures and decision-making processes.

GrowGreen – embedding Nature-based Solutions in cities
GrowGreen is a project funded by the EU Horizon 2020 programme for Research and Innovation to create climate and water resilient, healthy, and liveable cities by investing in nature-based solutions. It aims to achieve long-lasting change in cities by integrating nature-based solutions into their long-term planning, development, operation and management.

Central Asia Nexus Dialogue
IUCN is partnering with the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) in this EU-funded project to support regional institutional strengthening and capacities for multi-sectoral planning. More specifically the project contributes to the development of a portfolio of investment projects that will look at ensuring security of water, energy and food (WEF) in Central Asia.

MFF - Mangroves For the Future
Mangroves for the Future (MFF) is a unique partner-led initiative to promote investment in coastal ecosystem conservation for sustainable development. Co-chaired by IUCN and UNDP, MFF provides a platform for collaboration among the many different agencies, sectors and countries which are addressing challenges to coastal ecosystem and livelihood issues. The goal is to promote an integrated ocean-wide approach to coastal management and to building the resilience of ecosystem-dependent coastal communities
